Of Course there is a person who don’t like its distinct and strong smell, flavor and sticky consistency, but most Japanese love natto as an affordable and healthy food.
Natto is a traditional Japanese food made from fermented soybeans, usually eaten with soy sauce and karashi mustard.
It is mainly eaten in the eastern region (Kanto area) and less popular in the western region (Kansai area).
Normally we have natto with rice, but it introduced in a variety of recipes such as pasta and omelets.
